Green Co-leader Russel Norman said National called the tax switcheroo, tax cuts last year for those who needed them the least and spending cuts now for those who need the money the most
Dr Norman’s said instead of cuts the Government should introduce a capital gains tax and income tax levy for those earning over $45,000 to rebuild Christchurch.
He said Labour could not keep saying it would not make cuts without saying how money would be raised to reduce the deficit.
