Liquor And Bail Petitions Presented

When Parliament resumed at 2pm petitions calling for law changes on liquor and bail were presented.

The petition of Tina Nilson and 988 others asked the House support the proposed amendment to the Alcohol Reform Bill which seeks to restore 20 years of age as the minimum legal age for all categories of liquor purchases in New Zealand. There was also petition calling for a review of bail laws and that judges have their performance reviewed.
