A bill requiring a secret ballot before strike action is taken by union members will be debated in Parliament today.

A Members Day session will be held after Question Time and the General Debate.

First on the Order Paper is the third reading of the Employment Relations (Secret Ballot for Strikes) Amendment Bill.

This will be followed by:

The committee stage of the Fair Trading (Soliciting on Behalf of Charities) Amendment Bill, and the first readings of the Gambling (Gambling Harm Reduction) Amendment Bill and Register of Pecuniary Interests of Judges Bill
