The House will go into Urgency on Thursday following the delivery of Budget 2012 at 2pm.

The Government informed the Business Committee of the decision at a meeting yesterday.

Most have been speculating that the Government is intending to hike excise duty on tobacco and alcohol.

Today in Parliament the Crown Entities Reform Bill will be debated by MPs.

After Question Time and the General Debate, the House will go into committee to debate the public sector reform bill as well as the Commerce Commission (International Co-operation,
and Fees) Bill and the Biosecurity Law Reform Bill
