The Government intends to use this week to work its way through a backlog of bills awaiting their committee stage readings.
First up after Question Time and any other business will be the Biosecurity Law Reform Bill. This is an omnibus bill to update and reform various parts of biosecurity law.
This will be followed by the Commerce Commission (International Co-operation, and Fees) Bill. This is intended to facilitate co-operation between the Commission and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
