The Financial Reporting Bill was introduced when Parliament resumed at 2pm.

The bill seeks to streamline the financial reporting system by removing or reducing reporting obligations where they are unnecessary or excessive. It will also strengthen the law where the current reporting requirements do not adequately meet users’ needs.

MPs began Question Time.
