When Parliament began at 2pm the petition of Bob McCoskrie and 48,041 others was presented asking the House to retain marriage as an institution between a man and a woman.
The annual report of the Liquor Licensing Authority for the 12 months ended 30 June 2012 was presented, as was the Canterbury Earthquakes Royal Commission’s Final Report Part 1 was also tabled.
