The 50th anniversary of the creation of the Office of the Ombudsmen will be marked when Parliament sits today.

Following Question Time MPs are scheduled to debate a Government notice of motion on the Ombudsmen’s anniversary with a series of two minute speeches.

Next on the Order Paper is the third reading of the National War Memorial Park (Pukeahu) Empowering Bill.
