ETS Bill To Be Debated After Adjournment

When Parliament resumes after a week’s adjournment, legislation amending the emissions trading scheme will be debated.

Leader of the House Gerry Brownlee said the Government would seek to pass the Climate Change Response (Emissions Trading and Other Matters) Amendment Bill and the Legislation Bill when Parliament sat next on November 6.

A report on the Petition 2008/121 of Graeme Axford by the Social Services Committee was tabled.

MPs began Question Time.
