Whineray’s Death Marked

The death of Sir Wilson Whineray was marked when Parliament sat at 2pm.

Prime Minister John Key moved a motion noting MPs sadness at the passing away of the former All Black captain and business leader remembered by many as the “perfect gentleman’’.

The motion was passed unanimously.
