MPs Sit Early To Deal With Bills

Parliament resumed at 9am this morning under extended sitting hour provisions to deal with a number of non-controversial bills.

The bills have all had long periods sitting on the Order Paper awaiting consideration during their extended lives.

Due for progress this morning are the:

Antarctica (Environmental Protection: Liability Annex) Amendment Bill

Geneva Conventions (Third Protocol—Red Crystal Emblem) Amendment Bill.

Subordinate Legislation (Confirmation and Validation) Bill

Subantarctic Islands Marine Reserves Bill
