Parliament’s penultimate week of the year will feature extended sitting hours.

Bills on top of the Order Paper today are; the first reading of the Appropriation (2011/12 Financial Review) Bill and the third reading of the Callaghan Innovation Bill (formerly the Advanced Technology Institute Bill).

These will be followed by the first readings of the Family Court Proceedings Reform Bill and the Public Finance (Fiscal Responsibility) Amendment Bill.

Parliament will sit at 9am on Wednesday and Thursday to deal with a number of non-controversial bills.
