Appropriation Bill Passes

The four hour debate on the Appropriation (2011/12 Financial Review) Bill was completed just before 3.30 and reported without amendment by 64 to 57 with National, Maori Party, ACT and United Future in support.

The Bill was given its third reading without debate and passed by the same tally.

MPs began the committee stage debate of the Minimum Wage (Starting-out Wage) Amendment Bill.
