The Student Loan Scheme Amendment Bill (No 2) completed its third reading by by 105 to 15 with Greens and Mana opposing.

The Social Assistance (Living Alone Payments) Amendment Bill also passed its third reading on a voice vote.
The House rose just before 6pm interrupting the committee stage of the Airports (Cost Recovery for Processing of International Travellers) Bill.

Parliament went into recess for a week.
