Parliament resumed at 9am under extended hours provisions to consider two treaty settlement bills.

MPs will debate the second reading and committee stage of the Waitaha Claims Settlement Bill and Ngāti Whātua o Kaipara Claims Settlement Bill.

Both bills completed all stages on a voice vote and they were reported with amendment.

Question Time will take place at 2pm and after this a special debate will be held on Pacific issues as part of a wider Parliamentary forum on the subject.
