Three Bills Introduced

Petitions, papers and bills amending the Employment Relations Act, Auckland Council legislation and the Animal Welfare Act were presented when Parliament resumed at 2pm today

Two petitions were presented, one asking the House to consider a report on aviation safety and an allegation of withholding information made in the report; and another asking for the Labour Minister to hold an inquiry into the number of accidents in the forestry industry.

The Register of Pecuniary and Other Specified Interests: Summary – 2013 was presented.

2011/12 financial review of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise by the Commerce Committee

2011/12 financial review of External Reporting Board by the Commerce Committee

2011/12 financial review of Meridian Energy Limited by the Commerce Committee

2011/12 financial review of Mighty River Power Limited by the Commerce Committee

2011/12 financial review of Genesis Power Limited by the Commerce Committee

2011/12 financial review of the Electricity Authority by the Commerce Committee

The Employment Relations Amendment Bill, Local Government (Auckland Council) Amendment Bill (No2) and the Animal Welfare Amendment Bill were introduced.
