After Parliament resumed at 9am the second reading of the Families Commission Amendment Bill was completed by 64 to 56 with National, Maori Party, ACT and Peter Dunne in favour.

The second reading debate on the Financial Reporting Bill began.

The following bills remain to be considered under the Urgency motion.
