Govt Agenda After Week Recess

After next week’s adjournment the Government intends to make progress on a number of first readings.

The Deputy Leader of the House Anne Tolley said in the Business Statement these bills would include the Vulnerable Children Bill and the Electoral Amendment Bill. The Government also wished to continue with the committee stage of the Family Court Proceedings Reform Bill.

A report on the Briefing on the cost-sharing arrangement between the Christchurch City Council and the Government by the Finance and Expenditure Committee was presented.
