House Sits For Treaty Bills

Parliament resumed under extended sitting hours provisions at 9am to debate a number of treaty settlement bills.

MPs will debate the first readings of the Te Urewera-Tūhoe Bill, Ngāti Hauā Claims Settlement Bill, Ngāti Koroki Kahukura Claims Settlement Bill and the second reading of the Mokomoko (Restoration of Character, Mana, and Reputation) Bill

The House must rise by 1pm before resuming at 2pm for Question Time. After this and the General Debate MPs will debate member’s bills.
