TICS Bill Back Again

The Government is intending to complete the committee stage of the telecommunications interception bill this afternoon and moving to its third and final reading on Thursday.

After Question Time MPs are scheduled to return to the interrupted committee stage debate of the Telecommunications (Interception Capability and Security) Bill.

This will be followed by the second reading debates of the Members of Parliament (Remuneration and Services) Bill and the Health and Safety (Pike River Implementation) Bill, then the first reading debate on the Veterans’ Support Bill.

Parliament will sit tomorrow morning at 9am for the first reading debates on the Te Urewera-Tūhoe Bill, Ngāti Hauā Claims Settlement Bill, Ngāti Koroki Kahukura Claims Settlement Bill and the Mokomoko (Restoration of Character, Mana, and Reputation) Bill.

Wednesday is also Members Day.
