Parliament sat at 9am on Thursday morning to debate a number of bills under extended hours provisions.
MPs are to debate the first reading of the Waitangi National Trust Board Amendment Bill, the third readings of the Maungaharuru-Tangitu Hapu Claims Settlement Bill and the Ngā Punawai o Te Tokotoru Claims Settlement Bill.
The last bill is split into three bills – the Ngāti Rangiteaorere Claims Settlement Bill, Ngāti Rangiwewehi Claims Settlement Bill and the Tapuika Claims Settlement Bill.
All bills progressed on a voice vote and the House rose for lunch at 1pm.
