Local Govt, Tax And Food To Be Debated

The Government is seeking to makes progress on a local government bill when the House resumes today.

After Question Time, MPs are set to return to the interrupted second reading debate on the Local Government Act 2002 Amendment Bill (No 3).

This will be followed by the second reading of the Taxation (Annual Rates, Employee Allowances, and Remedial Matters) Bill and the third reading of the Food Bill.
