Parliament Resumes Under Urgency

Parliament resumed at 9am this morning under Urgency provisions to debate two bills.

MPs returned to the committee stage of the Budget Measures (Financial Support for Newborn Children) Bill debating part two of the bill.

Earlier the bill completed its first reading on a voice vote.

After this the Government wishes to progress the Budget Measures (Miscellaneous Fiscal Matters) Bill through all stages.
