A number of petitions, papers and reports were tabled when Parliament resumed at 2pm.

These included a petition requesting the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2013 be repealed, another petition asking the House demand the release of Bahia prisoners in Iran, and one calling for those convicted of breaching suppression orders be treated more severely by adding the offence to the three strikes category.

Ministers presented papers including the annual report of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Board and the statement intents of the Ministry of Social Development and the Ministry of Justice.
The Report of the Parliamentary Delegation to the 129th Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly, Geneva, Switzerland and bilateral visit to the European Parliament and West Flanders was presented.
