The House rose just before 10pm interrupting debate on a gambling law reform bill.

Earlier MPs completed the committee stage debates on the Employment Relations Amendment Bill and the Accounting Infrastructure Reform Bill.

Both bills were reported with amendment. The employment law reform bill was opposed by all parties except National, ACT and United Future. The accounting bill was supported by all parties.

The House rose interrupting the committee stage of the Gambling Amendment Bill (No 2). The tidy up bill was introduced seven years ago and had been stalled for some time.
