Focus On Parole Law Today

MPs will debate parole laws in Parliament today.

After Question Time and the General Debate, MPs will return to the interrupted second reading debate of the Education Amendment Bill (No. 2) with one speech remaining.

This will be followed by the second reading debate on the Public Safety (Public Protection Orders) Bill and Parole (Extended Supervision Orders) Amendment Bill taken together as cognate bills.

After this the Parole Amendment Bill and Commerce (Cartels and Other Matters) Amendment Bill are both scheduled to get their second readings.
