Parliament will adjourn for the summer break on December 10.
When the House sat at 2pm the Leader of the House Gerry Brownlee sought and received leave for the General Debate on Wednesday December 10 to be replaced by the adjournment debate to begin at 4.30pm.
After the coming two week adjournment the Government would give priority to a number of bills including the Education Amendment Bill (No 2), Parole (Extended Supervision Orders) Amendment Bill and Public Safety (Public Protection Orders) Bill.
The annual report of Heritage NZ was presented and MPs began Question Time.
