Match-fixing Bill To Get Priority Next Week

When the House sits next week the Government intends to give priority to the Crimes (Match-fixing) Amendment Bill.

Deputy Leader of the House Simon Bridges said other business would include Education Amendment Bill (No. 2), Public Safety (Public Protection Orders) Bill, Parole (Extended Supervision Orders) Amendment Bill and the Parole Amendment Bill. Wednesday will be a Members’ Day.

A number of annual reports were tabled including those of the Commerce Commission and NZ on Air.

The Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment’s report on climate change and rising sea levels was presented.

Report from the Controller and Auditor-General, State-owned Enterprises: Results of the 2012/13 Audits by the Finance and Expenditure Committee

Report from the Controller and Auditor-General, The Auditor-General’s Strategic Intentions 2014/15 to 2017/18 and Report from the Controller and Auditor-General, Annual Plan 2014/15 by the Finance and Expenditure Committee.
