by Desk Editor on Thursday, December 4, 2014 — 10:37 AM

A bill confirming match-fixing is criminal offence is set to pass into law this afternoon.

After Question Time, MPs are scheduled to debate the third reading of the Crimes (Match-fixing) Amendment Bill.

The bill has been widely supported at all other stages.

This will be followed by the third readings of the Public Safety (Public Protection Orders) Bill and the Parole (Extended Supervision Orders) Amendment Bill, taken together as cognate bills.
