A Day Of First Readings

by Desk Editor on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 — 10:51 AM

MPs will complete the first reading of the Drug and Alcohol Testing of Community-based Offenders and Bailees Legislation Bill after Question Time today.

This will be followed by the first readings of the Weathertight Homes Resolution Services Amendment Bill, the Radiation Safety Bill and the Taxation (Annual Rates for 2015-16, Research and Development, and Remedial Matters) Bill.

Tomorrow after Question time, there will be a two-hour set piece debate on the Government’s Budget Policy Statement. This follows the presentation of the Finance and Expenditure Committee’s report on the Budget Policy Statement 2015 last week.

The Budget is to be delivered on May 21.
