The House Today

by Desk Editor on Thursday, March 12, 2015 — 10:49 AM

On Tuesday the Government indicated to the Business Committee it may put the House into Urgency this afternoon to deal with all stages of the Remuneration Authority Amendment Bill.

If this does happen it will take up all proceedings after Question Time until the House rises. However the Greens have said the Government does not intend to do this now.

If Urgency does not take place the first reading of the New Zealand Flag Referendums Bill is on top of the Order Paper and then the interrupted committee stage of the Construction Contracts Amendment Bill.
