Budget Debate Completed

The Budget Debate was completed with the end of the set piece second reading of the Appropriation (2015/16 Estimates) Bill.

The vote of no-confidence was defeated by 63 to 58 with National, Maori Party, ACT and United Future opposed

The resulting confidence vote was completed by the same margin with National, Maori Party, ACT and United Future in favour.

MPs then began the first reading debate on the Accident Compensation (Financial Responsibility and Transparency) Amendment Bill.
