Ten Year Passports Bill

by Desk Editor on Thursday, June 18, 2015 — 10:41 AM

A bill extending the life of passports from five to 10 years will be debated in Parliament this afternoon.

After Question Time, MPs are due to debate the first reading of the Passports Amendment Bill (No 2). The bill allows for 10 year passports to be produced and tidies up other parts of the law.

This will be followed by the third reading of the Social Assistance (Portability to Cook Islands, Niue, and Tokelau) Bill.
