House Rises After Transplant Bill Progresses

The first reading of the Financial Assistance for Live Organ Donors Bill was completed on a voice vote and referred to the Health Committee.

The debate finished just before 10pm and National sought leave for the House to adjourn but leave was denied. There was then a series of points of order which took up the time of the House until it adjourned.
