Leave Granted And Denied

When Parliament resumed at 2pm Leader of the House Gerry Brownlee sought and received leave for the committee stage and third reading of the Hawke’s Bay Regional Planning Committee Bill to be included in tomorrow’s extended hours session.

ACT MP David Seymour sought leave to introduce a member’s bill to allow pubs to open during Rugby World Cup and it to go through a shortened parliamentary process. There was objection from a Green MP.

Ministry of Health, Manatū Hauora, Statement of Intent 2015–2019
The report of the Justice and Electoral Committee on the Coroners Amendment Bill was presented.

The Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Amendment Bill was introduced and MPs began Question Time.
