The House rose just before 6pm after the completion of the second reading of the Weathertight Homes Resolution Services Amendment Bill.

The Weathertight Homes Resolution Services Amendment Bill is the latest attempt to tidy up the original 2006 law, which sets out procedures for owners of leaky buildings to resolve claims and access financial assistance to facilitate the repair of eligible buildings.

The second reading was completed on a voice vote.

The House will resume next Tuesday.
