On the 19th of November, the Leader of the House Gerry Brownlee delivered his weekly business statement as follows:
“Next week the House is in a 1-week adjournment, when members will be catching up on select committee work and matters in their constituencies prior to Christmas. When the House resumes on Tuesday, 1 December, the Government intends to make progress on the Support for Children in Hardship Bill, the Taxation (Annual Rates for 2015-16, Research and Development, and Remedial Matters) Bill, and other bills in Committee on the Order Paper. Wednesday will be a members’ day.”
