The Geographical Indications (Wine and Spirits) Registration Amendment Bill has passed first reading on a voice vote and been referred to the Primary Production Committee.
This Bill amends the Geographical Indications (Wine and Spirits) Registration Act 2006. It addresses issues identified with the principal Act.
