Finance Minister, Bill English, laments the departure of “sensible”
Russel Norman from the Greens leadership as the government and
opposition continue their argument over the impact of lower milk
prices and the appropriate response – if any. Labour’s calls for
action on banks is ridiculed by National who accuse them of going back to the 70s. In the committee rooms, more submissions on a member’s bill that would increase paid parental leave to 26 weeks.
