Housing Bill Slowed by Amendments

Government bogged down by a filibuster as Opposition parties hi-jack its Housing Legislation Amendment Bill, introduced under urgency on Tuesday, tabling amendments which have to be debated before being defeated by the government using its majority with the support of United Future and ACT. Among defeated Labour amendments is one proposing a ban on foreign house buyers.
