Labour’s Fifth Flag Move Blocked

Labour’s request to introduce a member’s bill adding a fifth flag to choice in the first referendum is blocked by the government as is New Zealand First’s similar request to legislate against Chinese investment in Silver Fern Farms. Prime minister says decision on Chinese offer must be made by Silver Ferns. New Zealand First’s deputy leader mounts strong defence of current flag.
