Christ’s College Bill

When Parliament resumed today a report by the Attorney-General’s on the Smokefree Environments (Removing Tobacco Displays) Amendment Bill was presented along with the annual reports of the Government Superannuation Fund and the Clerk of the House.

Following the conclusion of Question Time and the General Debate. MPs held the second reading debate of the Christ’s College (Canterbury) Amendment Bill and agreed on a voice vote to send it to its committee stage.

The private bill will make it easier for Christ’s College to administer trusts which can no longer be run according to the original donor’s intentions.
