After Question Time, the Speaker rejected an application for an urgent debate on the Prime Minister’s decision not to reappoint Pansy Wong as a minister.

MPs held the second reading debate on the Electoral (Finance Reform and Advance Voting) Amendment Bill and Parliamentary Service Amendment Bill.

The bills were agreed to as amended by the select committee on single vote by 115 votes to 5 with ACT opposing.

MPs began the second reading of the Electoral Referendum Bill.
