Following Question Time and the General Debate MPs completed the third reading debate on the Environmental Protection Authority Bill, with it had been divided into the following parts after the committee stage:

Following Question Time and the General Debate MPs completed the third reading debate on the Environmental Protection Authority Bill, with it had been divided into the following parts after the committee stage:

Environmental Protection Authority Bill
Climate Change Response Amendment Bill
Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Amendment Bill (No 2)
Imports and Exports (Restrictions) Amendment Bill
Ozone Layer Protection Amendment Bill
Resource Management Amendment Bill.

The vote varied on each bill with generally National, ACT, Maori Party and United Future supporting for 68 against 54

ACT cast its five votes against a number of the divided bills, which contained references to a Treaty of Waitangi clause.

MPs began the third reading debate on the Dairy Industry Restructuring (New Sunset Provisions) Amendment Bill
