When Parliament resumed at 2pm a number of select committee reports were presented.

These were:
2011/12 financial review of the Children’s Commissioner by the Social Services Committee

Report from the Controller and Auditor-General, Central government: Result of the 2011/12 audits by the Finance and Expenditure Committee

2011/12 financial review of the Retirement Commissioner by the Social Services Committee

Members Bills after being drawn from the ballot were introduced:

Privacy (Giving the Privacy Commissioner the Necessary Tools) Amendment Bill Sue Moroney

Reserve Bank of New Zealand (Amending Primary Function of Bank) Amendment Bill (No 2) Rt Hon Winston Peters

Finance Minister Bill English presented Budget 2013 which is followed by a 14 hour debate, though it is likely to be adjourned to deal with Budget related legislation.
