House Rises Debating Trade Safeguards

The House rose just before 10pm interrupting the committee stage debate on the Trade (Safeguard Measures) Bill.

The bill was first introduced in 2008 and has made very slow progress.

Earlier MPs completed the committee stage of the Families Commission Amendment Bill.
