House Sits For Treaty Bills

The House sat under extended sitting provisions this morning to progress a number of Treaty settlement bills.

With agreement of the Business Committee MPs debated the second readings of the Ngā Mana Whenua o Tāmaki Makaurau Collective Redress Bill and the Ngā Punawai o Te Tokotoru Claims Settlement Bill, and the third reading of the Raukawa Claims Settlement Bill.

All bills progressed on a voice vote and the House rose just after midday and will resume at 2pm for Question Time.
