Two Bills Reported Back

When Parliament resumed at 2pm a number of select committee reports were presented including two on bills for further consideration.

The select committee reports were:
2012/13 financial review of Te Taura Whiri I Te Reo Māori (Māori Language Commission) by the Māori Affairs Committee

Petition 2011/82 of Edward Penetito on behalf of Ngati Kauwhata by the Māori Affairs Committee

Public Safety (Public Protection Orders) Bill by the Justice and Electoral Committee

Reserve Bank of New Zealand’s Monetary Policy Statement, March 2014 by the Finance and Expenditure Committee

Taxation (Annual Rates, Employee Allowances, and Remedial Matters) Bill by the Finance and Expenditure Committee

2012/13 financial review of the Commerce Commission by the Commerce Committee

2012/13 financial review of the Financial Markets Authority and the New Zealand Venture Investment Fund by the Commerce Committee

Petition 2011/74 of Christine Toms by the Local Government and Environment Committee
