House Resumes

When Parliament resumed at 2pm Speaker David Carter told MPs he had presented to the Governor-General the Address in Reply to the Speech from the Throne at the opening of Parliament.

MPs agreed the matter should be recorded in the Journals of the House.

A number of reports were presented including the annual reports of the:

Office of Film and Literature Classification

Housing New Zealand Corporation, Statement of Intent 2014–2018

Housing New Zealand Corporation, Statement of Performance Expectations 2014/15

Housing New Zealand Corporation, Annual Report 2013/14

Electoral Commission, Te Kaitiaki Take Kōwhiri, Annual Report

Electoral Commission, Te Kaitiaki Take Kōwhiri, Statement of Intent

Electoral Commission, Te Kaitiaki Take Kōwhiri, Statement of Performance Expectations, 2014/15 – 2020/21

A report from the Auditor General on water and roads funding was presented and the Report from the Controller and Auditor-General, Setting up Central Agencies Shared Services by the Finance and Expenditure Committee was presented.

MPs began Question Time.
