The House will give priority next week to completing the debate in reply to the Prime Minister’s statement.

Leader of the House Gerry Brownlee said when the House sat next Tuesday MPs would look to complete the set piece debate, but the Government also wanted to make progress on the Energy (Fuels, Levies, and References) Amendment Bill, Gambling Amendment Bill (No 2) and the Parole Amendment Bill.

Mr Brownlee said barring unforeseen circumstances a Members day would be held on the Wednesday following next week.
